    Dentro del estudio completo de género sobre la mujer en las colecciones públicas de pintura cacereñas, merece especial atención la categoría del retrato, donde encontramos un amplio abanico de tendencias y artistas de la talla de Antonio Saura, Ángel Duarte, Oswaldo Guayasamín o Timoteo Pérez Rubio. El presente estudio trata de organizar y dar sentido lógico a un total de veintiuna piezas que describen pormenorizadamente los rostros y cuerpos femeninos de clientas, amigas y familiares.

    Within the complete gender study of women in the public painting collections of Cáceres, the category of portraiture deserves special attention. We find a wide range of trends and renowned artists such as Antonio Saura, Ángel Duarte, Oswaldo Guayasamín and Timoteo Pérez Rubio. The goal of this study is to organise and give meaning to a total of twenty‐one pieces that describe in detail the faces and bodies of female clients, friends and family members.
