Modelos de inovação: Análise bibliométrica da produção científica

    The present study aimedto identify the number of publications, authors and most productive institutions, most cited documents, journals that publish the most on the topic, and keywords most used in scientific articles that deal with innovation models. The study was carried out in 1,538 articles retrieved from the Scopus database based on the search for the term “innovation models” in the title, abstract and keywords fields, without any time frame. The results show that there is a growing trend in the number of publications on this topic, having identified Zi-Li Deng as the author with the greatest impact. In addition, the article “Open for innovation: the role of openness in explaining innovation performance among U.K.manufacturing firms”, by Laursen, K and Salter, A, emerged as the most cited among the identified documents. Among the journals, Technological Forecasting and Social Change magazine presented the largest number of articles on the topic. The United States shows itself to be the country with the largest share in the number of articles and Delft University of Technology, located in the Netherlands, is the most productive institution. As for keywords, the terms management, innovation adoption and strategy were those with the highest semantic content. The use of bibliometric techniques proved to be adequate to identify the essential characteristics of scientific production on models of innovation. The study can be adopted as a decision-making tool for researchers,since it provides the main journals, authors and indexing terms on models of innovation.

    O presente estudo teve como objetivo identificar a quantidade de publicações, autores e instituições mais produtivos, documentos mais citados, periódicos que mais publicam sobre o tema e, palavras-chave mais empregadas em artigos científicos que tratam de modelos de inovação. O estudo foi realizado em 1.538 artigos recuperados da base de dados Scopus a partir de busca pelo termo “modelos de inovação” nos campos título, resumo e palavras-chaves, sem qualquer recorte temporal. Os resultados mostram que há uma tendência de crescimento na quantidade de publicações sobre este tema, tendo identificado Zi-Li Deng como o autor de maior impacto. Além disto, o artigo Open for innovation: the role of openness in explaining innovation performance among U.K. manufacturing firms, de Laursen, K e Salter, A, despontou como o mais citado entre os documentos identificados. Entre os periódicos, a revista Technological Forecasting and Social Change apresentou o maior número de artigos com o tema. Os Estados Unidos mostraram ser o país com a maior participação no número de artigos e a Delft University of Technology, localizada na Holanda, é a instituição mais produtiva. Quanto às palavras-chave, os termos management, innovation adoption e strategy foram aqueles de maior conteúdo semântico. O emprego de técnicas de bibliometria mostrou-se adequado para identificar as características essenciais da produção científica sobre modelos de inovação. O estudo pode ser adotado como ferramenta de tomada de decisão para pesquisadores, vistoque fornece principais periódicos, autores e termos indexadores sobre modelos deinovação.
