    El presente estudio pretende proponer un análisis filosófico de algunos pasajes del magisterio del Papa Francisco consagrados a la educación y la formación académica. Reconocida la importancia de una perspectiva gnoseológica que dé razón de la complejidad de la realidad, se hace necesario pensar en una nueva relación entre las disciplinas que el mismo tiempo garantice su especificidad epistemológica e interconexión reciproca. Según lo propuesto por el Papa Francisco, si no se renuncia a una perspectiva metafísica, hay que reconocer la importancia de un fundamento ético-práctico. De hecho, será el cuidado corresponsable de la familia humana y la casa común lo que fundará y dará legitimidad a una nueva y fructífera relación entre las disciplinas.

    This study intends to offer a philosophical analysis of some passages of the teachings of Pope Francis on education and on academic fornation. Acknowledgement of the importance of a gnoseological perspective that does justice to the complexity of the real renders it necessary to think of a new relationship between the disciplines, such as will safeguard both their epistemological specificity and their reciprocal interconnectedness. That which is put forward by Pope Francis, while not renouncing a metaphysical perspective, requires recognition of the importance an ethical-practical foundation. Indeed, it is caring responsibly for the human family and for the common home that is to be the foundation, and the justification, for a new and fruitful relationship among the disciplines.
