Resumen de Turismo accesible para todos: Análisis del grado de accesibilidad de las infraestructuras turísticas de transporte de Marrakech

  El turismo se ha convertido en un fenómeno social de extraordinaria importancia que moviliza a millones de personas en todo el mundo, constituyendo no sólo un factor de progreso económico, sino también un elemento fundamental para la mejora del conocimiento y el respeto entre los ciudadanos de distintos países y culturas.

  Las personas con discapacidad participan cada vez con mayor frecuencia en actividades turísticas sin embargo, aún persisten muchos impedimentos y barreras de todo tipo que dificultan el acceso a los recursos y servicios turísticos.

  El transporte juega un papel esencial en la cadena de valor turística, por cuanto facilita la accesibilidad a los destinos de los turistas.

  Con este trabajo se pretende conocer el grado de accesibilidad tanto física como sensorial, de las infraestructuras turísticas de transporte de Marrakech en concreto del aeropuerto, de la estación del ferrocarril, de la estación de autobuses interurbanos así como de las paradas tanto de los autobuses urbanos como de taxis, poniendo de manifiesto los obstáculos a los que todavía se enfrentan las personas con discapacidad para poder consumir una oferta turística totalmente accesible.

  Tourism is now considered a social phenomenon of extraordinary importance, which mobilizes millions of people in the world. This constitutes not only an economic development factor but also a fundamental element for improving the knowledge and respect among the citizens of different countries and cultures.

  These persons with disability are getting involved more and more in tourist activities. However, there are still many impediments and barriers impede their access to the tourist resources.

  The transport plays a key role for tourism since it facilitates the accessibility to the touristic destinations.

  In this work we study degree of both physical and sensory accessibility of transport in Marrakech for tourists including the airport, the railway station, the inter-city buses station as well as the bus and taxi stops. With this study we show the obstacles and barriers which persons with disabilities face be able to enjoy a tourist experience which is totally accessible for them.
