Este artículo pretende establecer algunas consideraciones y reflexiones sobre el reto que ha supuesto y que todavía hoy supone para el género femenino la transformación de valores en torno a la familia y al papel de la mujer en la sociedad. Por el mero hecho de nacer mujer le son vetadas decisiones importantes en el seno familiar, aunque su participación económica se acepte (trabajando fuera del hogar), las decisiones de mando las sigue dando el hombre. Las últimas tendencias en Política Social abogan por la Igualdad de Género, pero todavía queda mucho trabajo por realizar, desde el seno familiar, los colegios y en educación social, desde todos los estamentos y colectivos. También se pretende establecer consideraciones y reflexiones sobre el reto que ha supuesto el actual flujo de inmigración en nuestro país, está causando una cierta sorpresa y preocupación. Es preciso evitar convertir al inmigrante en causante de los problemas sociales. Nuestra protagonista fue inmigrante en su juventud y nos habla de su experiencia. Y se realiza un análisis de su perspectiva acerca de la jubilación. Qué le hace tener una percepción de la jubilación sin dramas, ni duelo por la pérdida del trabajo.

This article intends to establish some considerations and reflections on the challenge that has supposed and that still today supposes for the feminine gender. Also it intends to establish considerations and reflections on the challenge that has supposed the present flow of immigration in our country, is causing a certain surprise and worry. It is precise to avoid to convert al immigrant in cause of the social problems. Our protagonist was an immigrant in its youth, and he speaks us of his experience. And an analysis of his perspective about the retirement is carried out. That causes has him a perception of the retirement without dramas, neither sorrow by the loss of the work.
