    La enfermedad, invalidez y/o dependencia de un miembro de la familia afecta al resto de esta. Dentro de la familia se organiza un sistema de cuidados que acaba por recaer en uno de los miembros, casi siempre mujer, en la edad media de su vida, con dificultades personales previas a la que viene a añadirse una carga realmente pesada.

    Los límites del cuidado son difíciles de marcar en términos de qué se hace, a quién, dónde y durante cuánto tiempo. Sin embargo, el cuidado familiar ocurre en todas las edades y condiciones: "todos somos beneficiarios, y muchos somos o seremos cuidadores".

    La informante es una mujer de 64 años, casada, con tres hijos, que fue cuidadora de hasta tres ancianos a la vez (su abuela y dos hermanos de ésta) y de su marido que murió tras padecer una patología tumoral terminal y que acaba su etapa de cuidadora por deterioro severo de su salud.     The disease, dissability andor dependency of a member of the family affects to the rest of this. Within the family a system is organized of well-taken care of which finishes falling to one of the members, almost always woman, in the average age of its life, with previous personal difficulties to which a heavy real property tax comes to add itself.

    The limits of the care are difficult to mark in terms of what becomes, to whom, where and during how long. Nevertheless, the familiar care happens in all the ages and conditions: "all we are beneficiaries, and many we are or we will be caretakers".

    The informant is a woman of 64 years, married, with three children, that she was nursemaid of up to three old ones simultaneously (its grandmother and two brothers of this one) and of its husband who died after suffering a terminal tumorlike pathology and that finishes its stage of nursemaid by severe deterioration of its health. Reason by which it changes its roll of nursemaid well-taken care of.
