  • Resumen
    • This paper aims to make a methodological contribution to the systematic review method for business and social science research and to implement the proposed procedure in the field of digital transformation. In this article, we reviewed the systematic reviews found in the literature on bibliometric analysis and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines in several databases, namely Scopus, Web of Science, SpringerLink Journal, and Google Scholar, in addition to systematic literature searches on digital transformation in the fields of business and social sciences available in the Scopus database. We also combined the bibliometric analysis, PRISMA model, and software analysis to establish filters that support authors in identifying relevant literature to facilitate and improve the extraction, visualisation, and analysis of data. The developed method consisted of four stages: research design, data collection, data analysis, and visualisation. The proposed systematic review procedure and its application in the business and social science field provide an effective process. A notable contribution of this study is the inclusion of the developed PRISMA guidelines in the bibliometric standard workflow and the expansion in the use and application of analysis software.
