    Este artículo analiza el incidente ocurrido en el puerto de Nagasaki. A través de los estudios realizados por diferentes investigadores y de las fuentes primarias, escritas por el comisionado holandés Hedrick Doeff, se pretende analizar el acontecimiento con la intención de conseguir una visión más amplia del alcance de las Guerras napoleónicas en el Pacífico.

    This paper analyzes the incident occurred in the Nagasaki harbor. Through the studies carried out by different researchers and the primary sources, written by the Dutch commissioner Hendrick Doeff, I will analyze the event with the intention of getting a broader perspective of the scope of the Napoleonic Wars in the Pacific.
