    There are many reasons to be worried and become sceptical about the effects the system we are living in is having on humanity and the environment, yet we have accessible contemporary and modern studies on the capitalist system that can give us tools to redefine regulations and concepts with a focus on bettering those crude realities. Concepts like Schumpeter's ‘creative destruction’, a redefinition of ‘value’ from Mariana Mazzucato studies or the insights inside the nature of technological revolutions from Carlota Perez research can open the doors to new ways of looking at our current situation.
