  Las explicaciones sobre la migración estudian las condiciones de los sujetos, el grupo familiar o la unidad doméstica; la evaluación racional sobre costo/beneficio del proceso; y las condiciones de los mercados laborales en los sistemas migratorios. Se analizan las con-diciones macro estructurales y de dependencia; a nivel meso y micro social, la importancia de las redes, el capital social, y los procesos simbólicos perpetuadores. Considerando la importancia económica de las remesas, su carácter sistémico, autoperpetuador e invisible, la díada remesa social-unidad doméstica se ancla al género y a las configuraciones de cuidado. El costo de la migración para hombres y mujeres es diferente; a partir del Covid-19 hay mayor vigilancia del Estado y ciudadanía sobre las actividades productivas, el lugar donde se desarrollan y el cuerpo que las instrumenta.

  Explanations on migration study the conditions of the subjects, the family group or the household; rational evaluation on cost/benefit of the process; and the conditions of the la-bor markets in the migration systems. The macro structural and dependency conditions are analyzed; at meso and micro social levels, the importance of networks, social capital, and perpetual symbolic processes. Considering the economic importance of remittances, their systemic, self-perpetuanting and invisible nature, the dyad remittance social-household unit is anchored to gender and care settings. The cost of migration for men and women is different; as of Covid-19, there is greater vigilance by the State and citizens on productive activities, the place where they take place and the body that implements them
