Transfobia, masculinidades e violência sob a ótica da psicanálise

    We intend to discuss transphobia using the theory of generalized seduction and Jean Laplanche's category of translational codes, as well as the notion of frameworks proposed by Judith Butler to understand the violent stances of men against transsexual women. Besides, we will discuss the role of narcissistic shuddering of male identities as one of the possible psychological causes of the violence committed by cis men against trans and transvestite women.

    Pretendemos discutir a transfobia utilizando a teoria da sedução generalizada e a categoria de códigos tradutivos de Jean Laplanche, bem como a noção de enquadramentos proposta por Judith Butler para entender as posturas violentas de homens contra mulheres transexuais. A partir disso, discutiremos o papel do abalo narcísico das identidades masculinas como uma das possíveis causas psicológicas das violências cometidas por homens cis contra mulheres trans e travestis.
