La emergencia de las Humanidades Digitales supone repasar algunos de los escenarios que las condicionan y que las relacionan con las Ciencias de las Información. En tiempos de profundas turbulencias políticas y de marcadas transformaciones económicas y tecnológicas, las Humanidades Digitales se precian de interactuar con todos los sistemas sociales y profesionales para comprender y conocer mejor al otro a través de los recursos de la memoria colectiva y social. Se abordan algunos de los ejes de la responsabilidad social de las Humanidades Digitales acorde a su tránsito transversal en las ciencias humanas y sociales.

The emergence of Digital Humanities involves reviewing some of the scenarios that condition them and that relate them to Information Sciences. In times of deep political turbulence and marked economic and technological transformations, the Digital Humanities pride themselves on interacting with all social and professional systems to better know and understand the other through the resources of collective and social memory. Some of the axes of the social responsibility of the Digital Humanities are approached according to their transverse cross in the human and social sciences.
