Space and its production have been object of study of different sciences. In this article, in a special dialogue with Geography, History and Literature, we seek to understand the functions of spatiality, its confection and the tensions that develop in it in the literary work, and for that, we’ll choose the work Onde andará Dulce Veiga?: a novel B, by Caio Fernando Abreu, published in 1990. In this work the marginal subjects occupy the city and transform it in their scene of conflicts, accomplishments, sex, a cartography of the desires that we seek to unravel.

O espaço e sua produção têm sido objeto de estudo de distintas ciências. Neste artigo, dialogando especialmente com a Geografia, a História e a Literatura, buscamos compreender as funções da espacialidade, sua confecção e as tensões que nela se desenvolvem na obra literária e, para tanto, foi escolhida a obra Onde andará Dulce Veiga?: um romance B, de Caio Fernando Abreu, publicada em 1990. Nesta obra os sujeitos marginais ocupam a cidade e a transformam em seu palco de conflitos, realizações, sexo, uma cartografia dos desejos que buscamos desvendar.
