    La Ermita de Nuestra Señora la Virgen de la Estrella alberga una gran cantidad de retablos con imágenes de distintos momentos históricos y estilos artísticos diferentes. El estudio iconográfico de estas obras nos permite interpretar los símbolos y atributos, alegorías y emblemas que han utilizado los artistas para representar a los distintos personajes. Cada una de las imágenes que encontramos en la ermita adquiere un significado propio en relación con el ambiente cultural en el que surge. Además, este estudio es un acercamiento a la religiosidad y piedad popular existente en esta localidad.

    The Hermitage of Our Lady the Virgin of Estrella is home to a huge number of altarpieces with images of diverse historical moments as well as artistic styles. The iconographic study of these works allows the understanding of the symbols and features, allegories and hallmarks that the artists used to represent the different figures. Each of the images found in the Hermitage gains a characteristic meaning related to the cultural atmosphere in which they appear. Moreover, this study is an approach to the religious fervour and mercy present in this town.
