Resumen de Estrategias Anestésicas Protocolizadas en el Centro de Diagnóstico por la Imagen Clínic (CDIC)

  El fuerte incremento de la anestesia en radiología –50% en los últimos 10 años-, y el reto de encontrarnos cada vez más ante pacientes en condiciones clínicas agudas y complejas, han obligado a la reflexión, para encontrar un modelo de organización concreto que nos permita controlar la seguridad de los pacientes y la calidad asistencial en un medio poco confortable y arriesgado por definición. El empleo de unas técnicas de anestésicas protocolizadas confieren una mayor calidad a los procedimientos, mejora la eficiencia de la unidad reduciendo el tiempo empleado en la realización de los mismos y facilita la enseñanza de diferentes profesionales.La relevancia de la enfermera de anestesia en el servicio de radiología ha ido aumentando paralelamente al incremento de la actividad, y, actualmente nuestra presencia es diaria y de actuación en todas las unidades del CDI: angiorradiología, ecografías, resonancia magnética, TAC y medicina nuclear.

  The strong increase of radiology anesthesia -50% in the last 10 years-, and the challenge of finding ourselves more and more before patients in acute and complex clinical conditions, have forced reflection, to find a concrete organizational model that al-lows to control the safety of patients and the quality of care in an uncomfortable and risky environment by definition. The use of a protocolized anesthetic techniques confer a higher quality to the procedures, improves the efficiency of the unit reducing the time spent in the realization of the same and facilitates the teaching of different professionals.The relevance of the anesthesia nurse in the radiology service has been increasing in parallel with the increase in activity, and, currently, our presence is daily and active in all units of the CDI: angiorradiology, ultrasound, magnetic resonance, CT and nu-clear medicine.
