La presencia de Illas en la obra de tres autores asturianos

    The following article is intended to show readers a piece of the council of Illas covering a chronological axis that includes the second half of the 19thcentury and the first third of the 20thcentury. Although this Asturian council could be presented through other disciplines, such as geography, history, art, anthropology, among others, it is not less true that presenting Illas through literature means getting to know a little of the aforesaid place in Asturias using an instrument such as literary creation. Asturian literature, even if not especially voluminous or extensive in works, has this council present in very specific works by also very specific Asturian writers. Through this group of works, some characteristics of the council of Illas such as geography, brief historical aspects, traditional customs and other details evidence people’s way of life in the council in certain time segments. Therefore, it can be deduced that the work has anthropological, social and linguistic characteristics because literature participates of these dimensions due to its author living within a society and expressing himself in a specific language that leaves testimony of that place. In the case of Illas, we present the work of three Asturian authors with works about this council. The aim is to make Illas known and increase the body of knowledge around this council from literary works, showing the most typical essence that this Asturian council currently strives to maintain. At the same time, it is also underlined the literary relevance within the Asturian literary scene of the three authors who provided knowledge about Illas with their works: Armando Palacio Valdés, David Arias and Benigno García González «Marcos del Torniello».

    L’artículu que se presenta darréu tien como oxetivu ufiertar a los llectores un aspeutu del Conceyu d’Illas qu’abarca un exe cronolóxicu qu’algama la segunda metá del s. XIX y el primer terciu del s. XX. Anque l’averamientu a esti conceyu asturianu pudiere facese dende munches otres disciplines como la xeografía, la historia, l’arte, l’antropoloxía, nun ye menos verdá que presentar a Illas dende la lliteratura implica adientrase en conocer daqué d’esti llugar d’Asturies dende’l preséu que supón la creación lliteraria. Esti conceyu, anque nun sía d’un mou especialmente bultable o llargu n’obres, ta presente en creaciones lliteraries mui concretes d’escritores asturianos mui concretos tamién. Dende esti garapiellu de trabayos pue apreciase la xeografía, dalgunos aspeutos históricos del conceyu, vezos tradicionales y otros detalles qu’amuesen el mou de vida de los sos habitantes en dómines determinaes. Darréu d’ello, puede ducise que’l trabayu tien un calter antropolóxicu, social y llingüísticu por cuantes que la lliteratura participa d’estes estayes al ser un autor que vive nuna sociedá y s’espresa nun llinguaxe concretu’l que dexa testimoniu d’esi llugar, siendo pal casu d’Illas tres escritores asturianos con obra sobre’l conceyu. L’oxetivu que mos empobina ye dar conocencia d’esti territoriu y aumentar un daqué’l conxuntu de conocimientos sobro él dende la lliteratura, amosando’l calter más propiu d’esti conceyu asturianu que s’esbrexa güei por siguir calteniéndolu. Al empar, sollíniase tamién la relevancia, dientro del panorama lliterariu d’Asturies, de los tres autores que contribuyeron a la conocencia d’Illas coles sos obres, y que son Armando Palacio Valdés, David Arias y Benigno García González «Marcos del Torniello».
