Aportaciones de José Luis Abellán a la historia del pensamiento español

    El objetivo principal de este artículo es mostrar las aportaciones más relevantes de José Luis Abellán a la historia del pensamiento español. Se trata de una especie de homenaje a toda una vida dedicada a esta disciplina. En primer lugar, se hace un repaso por su biografía intelectual, destacando aquellos acontecimientos que han marcado el devenir de su obra. Para situar al autor en su contexto histórico y cultural se le dedica un espacio a la Generación del 56, que se puede calificar como el primer movimiento de oposición juvenil al régimen franquista.

    Y, por último, se analizan las principales aportaciones de Abellán, tales como su descubrimiento del exilio filosófico, la recuperación de Ortega y Gasset, el erasmismo, la reivindicación del pensamiento español, entre otras.

    The main objective of this article is to show the most relevant contributions of José Luis Abellán, in tribute to a lifetime dedicated to the history of Spanish thought. First, a review is done of his intellectual biography, highlighting the events that marked him. To place the author in a historical and cultural context, a section of this article is dedicated to the Generation of 56, which can be described as the first youth opposition movement to the Franco regime. Finally, the main contributions of Abellán are analysed, such as his discovery of philosophical exile, the recovery of Ortega and Gasset, Erasmism, and the affirmation of Spanish thought.
