Se aprende del momento histórico que nos toca vivir, la familia en la que crecemos, del barrio que nos acoge, de las experiencias en nuestro andar, de los impulsos que entendemos porqué nos mueven, pero que tarde o temprano, si estamos atentos, comprendemos que tienen un sentido. Being an artist demands a commitment to creation, to oneself, to others. We learn from the historical moment that we live in, the family in which we grow up, the neighborhood that welcomes us, the experiences in our walk, the impulses that we understand why we move, but sooner or later, if we are attentive, we understand that they have a meaning. The conversation with Monica Vazquez, shows us this commitment as an artist and with her art, which dances in harmony with the movement of flamenco and textile forms.
