El arte textil en todas sus formas propone una infinidad de posibilidades que sólo la imaginación del creador puede limitar. La profusión de fibras textiles, asociada a la gran variedad de técnicas que lo corresponde, de las más tradicionales hasta las más modernas, ofrece al artista una riqueza sin comparación. En el arte contemporáneo, los artistas se apoderan de este medio con audacia y frenesí.
La artista y curadora textil francesa: Paty Vilo fundó hace 10 años el colectivo de artistas Fiber Art Fever! El colectivo incluye unos cincuenta artistas internacionales que trabajan de forma privilegiada con la fibra textil o sus técnicas. Fiber Art Fever! promueve el arte textil contemporáneo y lo difunde a través de su página web, su página de Facebook y su cuenta Instagram. Las redes sociales le permiten tener una visión general de las prácticas en los textiles contemporáneos.

Textile art in all its forms offers an infinite number of possibilities that only the imagination of the creator can limit. The profusion of textile fibres, associated with the great variety of techniques that correspond to it, from the most traditional to the most modern, offers the artist an unparalleled richness. In contemporary art, artists take possession of this medium with audacity and frenzy.
The French textile artist and curator: Paty Vilo founded the artists’ collective Fiber Art Fever! 10 years ago.
The collective includes about fifty international artists who work in a privileged way with textile fibres or their techniques. Fiber Art Fever! promotes contemporary textile art and disseminates it through its website, its Facebook page and its Instagram account. Social networks allow you to get an overview of practices in contemporary textiles.
