Resumen de Martín de Gaztelu, notario de Carlos I en Yuste

  Al abdicar de todos sus Reinos, Carlos I se retiró a Yuste (provincia de Cáceres), en donde estuvo asistido por cincuenta y una personas. De todos estos colaboradores, nos ocupamos en este artículo de Martín de Gaztelu, quien comenzó siendo su Secretario y acabó siendo -además- su Notario (escribano del Rey), en base a cuyo título autorizó el Codicilo de Carlos, última de sus disposiciones mortis causa.

  After the abdication, Carlos I was retired in Yuste (province of Cáceres), where he remained with the help of fifty one people. In this article, we make attention on Martín de Gaztelu, who began as his General Secretary and finally ended being -as well- his Public Notary. In such condition, he signed the Codicil, his last mortis causa disposition.
