  El Neoconstitucionalismo y el Estado Constitucional de Derecho han internacionalizado los sistemas jurídicos de cada país, toda vez que los mismos han tenido que ajustar sus normas a las prescripciones supranacionales, sometiéndose al control de los organismos internacionales, tales como la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, máximo intérprete de la Convención Americana de Derechos Humanos.  Es así como los jueces en Colombia, en repetidas oportunidades han fundamentado sus decisiones sobre derechos humanos, en tratados o convenciones internacionales ratificados por Colombia, por tanto, en el presente artículo de investigación se propone como pregunta central ¿Cuál es el alcance del control difuso de convencionalidad en las providencias judiciales en Colombia? Como objetivo general se pretende determinar el alcance del Control de Convencionalidad en las providencias judiciales en Colombia.

  Neoconstitutionalism and the Constitutional State of Law have internationalized the legal systems of each country, since they have had to adjust their norms to supranational prescriptions, submitting themselves to the control of international organizations, such as the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, top interpreter of the American Convention on Human Rights. This is how the judges in Colombia, on repeated occasions, have based their decisions on human rights in international treaties or conventions ratified by Colombia, therefore, in this research article, the central question is proposed What is the scope of the diffuse control of conventionality in judicial decisions in Colombia ?. The general objective is to determine the scope of the Control of Conventionality in judicial decisions in Colombia.
