    En el presente artículo aportamos una serie de datos que nos permiten reconstruir una parte importante de una de las antiguas escribanías del número de la ciudad de Jaén desde mediados del siglo XVI y hasta el primer tercio del XIX. La base documental de la investigación ha partido de un inventario y registro de papeles de la propia escribanía de principios del siglo XIX y los libros de Actas Capitulares del Archivo Histórico Municipal de Jaén

    In this article we provide a series of data that allow us to reconstruct an important part of one of the old notaries offices of the number of the city of Jaen from the middle of the 16th century to the first third of the 19th century. The documentary base of the investigation has started from an inventory and registry of papers of the own notary's office from the early 19th century and the books of Chapter Acts of the Municipal Historical Archive of Jaen
