    El tema central de este artículo es la construcción simbólica y representación de la idea del “macho” cultural dentro de la esfera del carnaval.  Se pretende develar la significación y el tipo de transgresión que se concreta con la ritualización del cuerpo dentro del periodo de carnestolendas para presentar aportes a la teoría del carnaval desde la perspectiva antroposemiótica que conduzcan a una reflexión sobre la cultura y los discursos que se dinamizan en el carnaval. De esta manera, se hace un recorrido por los aportes de teorías sobre el carnaval elaboradas por varios autores y a partir de estos se amplía la discusión sobre la manera como la sociedad instituye la visión androcéntrica en la cultura del carnaval; se plantea la naturaleza del discurso de las pasiones y la ritualización del cuerpo desde la relación dual de Eros y Tánato, además de la objetivación de la transgresión en la condición cultural del “macho” ante la idea de virilidad.

    The central theme of this article is the symbolic construction and representation of the idea of ​​the cultural "macho" within the sphere of carnival. It is intended to reveal the significance and the type of transgression that is specified with the ritualization of the body within the period of carnival in order to present contributions to the theory of carnival from an anthroposmotic perspective that lead to a reflection on the culture and the discourses that are energized the carnival. In this way, a tour is made of the contributions of theories about carnival elaborated by various authors and from these the discussion about the way in which society institutes the androcentric vision in the culture of carnival is expanded; The nature of the discourse of the passions and the ritualization of the body is raised from the dual relationship of Eros and Thanato, in addition to the objectification of the transgression in the cultural condition of the "male" in the face of the idea of ​​virility.
