    La investigación aborda una temática muy importante, identificada en la implementación del proyecto “Deportes para Todos” en el programa de preparación del deportista del deporte de Esgrima en la categoría 10-12 años en la provincia de Guantánamo, Cuba conel objetivo proponer ejercicios que perfeccionenla técnica de Fondo.Se utilizó sustento teórico los criterios ofrecidos por autores como: Álvarez y Prieto (1993),Clery (1994),Arkayev (1998), Gaugler (1999), Thirioux (2003), Szabó (2007), López (2009),Silva (2009), Kronlund (2014), Lukovich (2015), Beke y Polgar (2016), Rosabal A. y Tejeda R. (2016), González-López y Lores-Real (2018).Durante el proceso investigativose utilizómétodos y técnicas de los diferentes niveles que permitieron determinar las principales insuficiencias, lo que permitióelaborar ejercicios queperfeccionenla técnica de Fondo y corroborar la factibilidad de la propuesta
