    El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la película El mejor verano de mi vida (Dani de la Orden, 2018) bajo el concepto de turismo cinematográfico. El mejor verano de mi vida fue la segunda película es-pañola con más espectadores en salas de cine de España durante 2018 y la primera en este listado con un claro componente turístico. Al ha-ber sido un producto audiovisual con gran impacto cultural y enorme acogida social, resulta pertinente el estudio y el análisis de esta reali-zación cinematográfica desde el punto de vista del elemento turístico presente en la narrativa. Es una producción cuya historia transcurre mayoritariamente en la isla de Tenerife. La película fue avalada ofi-cialmente por la Tenerife Film Commission, obteniendo todos los be-neficios económicos que esto representa. Esta investigación realiza un análisis textual del largometraje en cuestión partiendo de la siguiente hipótesis: El mejor verano de mi vida fracasa en un posible objetivo de promocionar la isla de Tenerife como destino turístico, ya que el film usa localizaciones tinerfeñas, pero la historia, supuestamente, trans-curre en la ciudad andaluza de Marbella. Este estudio hace un reco-rrido por las principales teorías y conceptos que se han establecido frente al concepto de turismo cinematográfico, mencionando ejemplos de éxito en este apartado. Posteriormente, el artículo analiza el trata-miento cinematográfico que le da El mejor verano de mi vida a la isla de Tenerife y, finalmente, lanza unas conclusiones finales con respecto a la relación entre la película y la isla tinerfeña como lugar de rodaje.

    This research aims to analyze the film The best summer of my life(Dani de la Orden, 2018) in relation to the role played by this feature film under the concept of film tourism. The best summer of my life was the second Spanish film with more spectators in cinemas in Spain during 2018 and the first in this list with a clear tourist component, hence the relevance in the analysis of this cinematic piece. It is a production that takes place partly in the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands and is a production endorsed by the Tenerife Film Commission, obtaining all the economic benefits this official support brings. The study makes a textual analysis of the film under the fo-llowing hypothesis: The best summer of my life fails in a possible ob-jective of inducing tourism to the island of Tenerife through the film, for a simple reason, this film uses locations from Tenerife, but the story supposedly takes place in the Andalusian city Marbella. The study approaches the main theories and concepts that have been established around film tourism, mentions examples of success in this category, analyzes the treatment that The best summer of my lifegives to the island of Tenerife, and leaves some final conclusions re-garding the relationship between the film and the island of Tenerife as a filming location.
