    El presente texto se titula Cronicón, aludiendo a una breve narración histórica que se explica obedeciendo al orden cronológico sobre los ocho montajes del Salón Departamental de Artistas Huilenses, acaecidos entre los años 1989 y 2004. Después de una breve introducción se abordan los siguientes tópicos: 1) El Salón Departamental de Artistas Huilenses de su nacimiento a su consolidación. 2) La participación de los artistas y la calidad de los jurados. 3) El devenir de las percepciones de los comentaristas y críticos del Salón de Artistas Huilenses. 4) Panorama sobre la obra de los artistas ganadores de los "Primeros Premios" en las distintas versiones del Salón de Artistas Huilenses. Para ello se recurrió al análisis de catálogos de exposición, artículos de prensa, actas de inscripción, fichas técnicas de las obras, textos de los artistas y entrevistas.

    The present text is entitled Chronicles, referring to a brief historical narrative that is explained by obeying the chronological order on the eight assemblies of the Departmental Hall of Artists Huilenses, occurred between 1989 and 2004. After a brief introduction the following topics are addressed: 1) The Departmental Hall of Huilenses Artists from its birth to its consolidation. 2) The participation of the artists and the quality of the juries. 3) The evolution of the perceptions of the commentators and critics of the Salon of Artists of Huila. 4) Panorama of the work of the winning artists of the "First Prizes" in the different versions of the Salon of Artists of Huila. For this purpose, the analysis of exhibition catalogs, press articles, registration records, technical files of the works, texts of the artists and interviews was used.
