    El presente artículo es una reseña histórica del ritmo Pasillo. Ritmo folclórico colombiano de importante significado para la historia musical del país. En un primer momento se mencionan las fuentes históricas que ayudan a esclarecer su procedencia y nacimiento en tierra colombiana, aquí también se señalan las dos formas de pasillo existentes (lento y fiestero), luego se hace mención a los instrumentos que han permitido su difusión y a los compositores que en el ámbito nacional y regional han realizado sus obras con este ritmo. Por último, se presenta el análisis estructural y la partitura del Pasillo "Ana Beatriz", cuyo compositor es el autor de este texto.

    This article is a historical review about the pasillo rythm. Colombian folkloric rythm of great meaning to the  country's musical history. At first, the historical sources that help to clarify their origin and birth on Colombian land are mentioned, here also the two existing hall ways (slow and partying) are pointed out, then mention is made of the instruments that have allowed their diffusion and the composers who, at the national and regional level, have made their works with this rhythm. Finally, we present the structural analysis and the score of the pasillo "Ana Beatriz", whose composer is the author of this text.
