¿Paideia?.., Era una jovencita que no había cumplido 18 años, portanto, no había llegado a la mayoría de edad; tierna y recatada como la flor del cactus; sus ojos de un verde de yerba fresca; su vigor juvenil es fuente de todas las ilusiones.
Pero, en un comienzo no fue así. A pesar de que nació de alta alcurnia -Consejo de Facultad su primera aparición, en 1988, fue muy débil; casi no nace, aunque ya estaba bautizada y a pesar de que quisieron presentarla en sociedad con el tema de moda para esa época: "La calidad de la educación en la Universidad Surcolombiana", "...la respuesta fue fría: sólo apareció un trabajo". Simbolizó la misma crisis universitaria. Por ello, el Decano Guebelly llegó a decir casi poéticamente: "La Facultad de Educación no tiene quien le escriba. ¡Tanta es su soledad!". Paradójicamente vio la luz con artículos que no fueron escritos para ella, sino para una revista anterior a ella; es decir, se vistió con la ropa de su hermana que nunca conoció. Pero, nació! Y al nacer estaba viva, y la vida que ya tenía, como toda la realidad heraclitiana, era dialéctica; es decir, llevaba en sí la candela necesaria para encender pasiones en la medida en que iba creciendo. En su primera edición se emplearon cinco mil palabras; en su última, más de cincuenta mil términos; inicialmente pocos le apostaron, ahora brilla con luz propia.

Paideia?... Paradoxically, she saw the light with articles that were not written for her, but for a Journal before her; that is, she dressed in the clothes of his sister that she never knew. But, she was born! And at birth she was alive, and the life he already had, like all Heraclitean reality, was dialectical; that is to say, she carried within herself the necessary candle to ignite passions as she grew. In its first edition, five thousand words were used; in his last, more than fifty thousand terms; initially few bet, now she shines with its own light.
