  • In this series I intend to take out of context moments and characters of history to place them in times and situations that do not correspond to theirs. The idea that history, as it has been taught to us, with its unshakable pedestals and its marble heroes is too comfortable impels me to play, to disrespect roles. Art, throughout millennia, has served the powers of the day, but it has also been at the service of artists, who never stopped making libertarian gestures with one hand while with the other they satisfied the propaganda demanded by their payer and lord.
