     Ponemos en  manos del lector el primer número de Estudios Artísticos: revista de investigación creadora, un medio de socialización de conocimientos adscrito a la línea de investigación en Estudios Culturales de las Artes, del Proyecto de Doctorado en Estudios Artísticos de la Facultad de Artes –ASAB - Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (Bogotá, Colombia).  El nombre de la revista, acorde con la denominación del campo donde se crean los conocimientos que este medio nos permite socializar. En este punto, es importante referirnos brevemente a lo que entendemos por estudios artísticos y a las prácticas de investigación y creación que los constituyen, con el fin de perfilar de la mejor manera el carácter de nuestra revista.

    We put in the hands of the reader the first number of Artistic Studies: creative research journal, a means of socialization of knowledge ascribed to the line of research in Cultural Studies of the Arts, of the Doctorate Project in Artistic Studies of the Faculty of Arts -ASAB - Francisco José de Caldas District University (Bogotá, Colombia).The name of the magazine, according to the name of the field where the knowledge that this medium allows us to socialize is created. At this point, it is important to refer briefly to what we understand by artistic studies and the research and creation practices that constitute them, in order to profile the character of our journal in the best way.
