    In the Portuguese legislation in the scope of Environmental Acoustics – the General Regulation for Ambient Noise of 2007, the noise indicators, Lden (noise indicator of the day-evening-night) and Ln (noise indicator of night) during a representative period of one year, are defined as the parameters for characterization of Ambient Noise. It is intended with this article to approach some strategies for the accomplishment of the samplings of noise from road and rail traffic, and from industrial noise. These strategies will be based on the obtaining of the referred indicators from measurements, and complementation with resource to the calculations models developed in the extent of the European project Harmonoise, in way to make possible an estimate of the influence of the atmospheric conditions (when necessary). Taking in account the growing interests of the acoustic community for the theme of the representativeness of the acoustic measurements the final goal of this work is to contribute for a discussion enlarged on the representativeness of the acoustic measurements

    Tendo em conta a legislação portuguesa no âmbito da Acústica Ambiental, designadamente o Regulamento Geral do Ruído Ambiente, onde são definidos como parâmetros descritores do Ruído Ambiente, os indicadores de ruído, Lden (indicador de ruído diurno-entardecer-nocturno) e Ln(indicador de ruído nocturno), determinados durante um período representativo de um ano. Pretende-se com este artigo abordar algumas estratégias para a realização das amostragens de ruído de tráfego rodoviário, ruído tráfego ferroviário, e ruído industrial. Estas estratégias serão baseadas na obtenção dos referidos descritores a partir de medições, e sua complementação com recurso ao modelo de cálculo desenvolvido no âmbito do projecto europeu Harmonoise, de modo a possibilitar uma estimativa da influência das condições atmosféricas (quando aplicável). Perante o crescente interesse da comunidade acústica relativo a temática da representatividade das medições acústicas, e a par da crescente incidência nas questões associadas à pós-avaliação, o objectivo final deste trabalho é contribuir para uma discussão alargada sobre a representatividade das medições acústicas.
