  La presentación de este estudio parte desde la intención de una investigación evaluativa de un programa que lleva funcionando, con unos objetivos similares, desde hace más de 30 años. El programa de Técnicas de Estudio, cuyo epicentro está basado en el Método de Estudio L2SERAE, da respuesta a preguntas que hacen referencia al qué, cómo, dónde y cuándo estudiar. En muchas ocasiones, el fracaso escolar de alumnos y alumnas en los centros de educación secundaria, bachillerato, no obedece a unos déficits cognitivos educativos o materiales concretos, sino que los períodos o las etapas de transición tanto educativa como evolutiva por los que atraviesan los destinatarios del programa, pueden llevar al individuo a hallarse perdido y a dudar de su propia capacidad, cayendo en una gran desmotivación. El estudio no intenta ser más que una descripción de dicho Método de Estudio, así como una evaluación de los factores fundamentales del mismo a lo largo de este período de ejercicio.

  The presentation of this study starts from the intention of an evaluative investigation of a program that has been running, with similar goals, for more than 30 years. The Study Techniques program, whose epicentre is based on the L2SERAE Study Method, answers questions that refer to what, how, where and when to study. On many occasions, the school failure of students in secondary schools and A levels is not due to specific cognitive, educational or material deficits, but rather to the periods or stages of transition, both educational and evolutionary, which the target group of the programme go through. These periods can lead the individual to be lost and to doubt about their own capacity, falling into a great demotivation. The study is not intended to be more than a description of the Study Method mentioned above, as well as an evaluation of the fundamental factors of the same throughout this period of exercise.
