Resumen de El nuevo rol del psicólogo en un cuerpo técnico de fútbol: el psicólogo táctico

  El artículo explora el oficio de la psicología al interior de un cuerpo técnico de fútbol, tomando en consideración cómo las funciones y acciones que vienen desempeñando los psicólogos han sido muy variadas. De esta manera, se constata un nuevo rol que está adquiriendo este profesional en relación con la parte táctica del fútbol y su entrenamiento. Por tal motivo, el objetivo principal de este artículo es acercar la psicología a un factor tan importante en el entrenamiento de fútbol como es la táctica y dar contenido a la categoría propuesta de “psicólogo táctico”. Para cumplir este objetivo, el estudio plantea, en primer lugar, una revisión teórica sobre el oficio del psicólogo en un cuerpo técnico de fútbol. A continuación, se definen los aspectos específicos de la táctica en el fútbol, siendo ésta considerada como un proceso cognitivo, afectivo y volitivo. Posteriormente se reconocen los aportes que el psicólogo puede entregar a un equipo de fútbol desde el aprendizaje y el entrenamiento tácticos. De todo este repaso se desprenden algunas importantes conclusiones que ayudan, precisamente, a identificar y categorizar un nuevo rol de psicólogo en cuanto “psicólogo táctico”

  The article explores the profession of psychology within a football coaching staff, taking into consideration how the functions and actions that psychologists have been performing have been very varied. In this way, a new role that this professional is acquiring in relation to the tactical part of football and its training is verified. For this reason, the main objective of this article is to bring psychology closer to such an important factor in soccer training as tactics and to give content to the proposed category of “tactical psychologist”. In order to fulfil this objective, the study proposes, in the first place, a theoretical review on the profession of the psychologist in a football coaching staff. Then the specific aspects of tactics in football are defined, this one considered as a cognitive, affective and volitional process. Later, the contributions that the psychologist can give to a football team from tactical learning and training are recognized. From all this review, some important conclusions are drawn that help precisely to identify and categorize a new role for the psychologist as a “tactical psychologist”.
