Resumen de Apunts per a una fenomenologia de la interseccionalitat

El concepte d’interseccionalitat fa referència a la forma com es relacionen les categories socials com el gènere, la raça, l’edat, la classe o la sexualitat i a quins són els seus efectes sobre l’experiència de les persones. En primer lloc, en aquest article examinaré quin és el lloc de la noció d’experiència en els textos fundacionals de la interseccionalitat. En segon lloc, i sobre la base d’alguns temes Husserlians elaborats per Sara Ahmed, proposaré uns apunts per a una fenomenologia de la interseccionalitat que conceptualitza les estructures experiencials que es manifesten en la dinàmica d’opressió i privilegi de diversos sistemes socials interconnectats. Caracteritzaré l’experiència d’opressió a través de l’estructura d’«estar fora de lloc» i de la tematització del context, estructura que alhora és viscuda com a «normal» des de les posicions de privilegi, i presentaré l’experiència de la possibilitat de ser oprimit i opressor alhora com un tret específic de la dinàmica interseccional.

The concept of intersectionality refers to the way social categories such as gender, race, age, class or sexuality are related and to which are their effects on people’s experiences. First, this article examines the place of the notion of experience in the foundational works of intersectionality. Second, on the basis of Husserlian themes elaborated by Sara Ahmed, I propose some notes for a phenomenology of intersectionality that describes the experiential structures manifested in the oppression and privilege dynamics of different interconnected social systems. I will characterize the experience of oppression throught the structure of «being out of place» and the thematization of the context, a structure that at the same time is experienced as «normal» from positions of privilege, and I will present the experience of the possibility of being opressed and oppressor at the same time as a specific feature of intersectional dynamics.
