  Los informes escritos constituyen una de las herramientas fundamentales en el trabajo de los inspectores e inspectoras de Educación. En este artículo desarrollamos las condiciones fundamentales para que dichos informes sirvan al fin para los que se escriben. Tratamos el informe de inspección como género discursivo, las características que deben poseer, las fases que pueden seguirse para su elaboración, la información o contenidos y, por último, algunos rasgos de estilo.

  Written reports make up one of the fundamental tools in the work of inspectors of Education. So, the ability for written communication is essential in our work. In this article we develop the fundamental conditions for these reports to serve the purpose for which they are written. The inspection report is treated as a discursive genre, developing the characteristics that they must possess, the phases that can be followed for its elaboration, the information or contents of said reports, and finally, some style features
