  dico, el encaje de los centros que practican la educación diferenciada por sexos en el marco constitucional español. Abordan la cuestión de la relación entre el derecho a la educación y la libertad de enseñanza, así como la relación entre la libertad individual y la dimensión social del derecho a la educación. Ponen en el centro del debate la sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional 31/2018, que declara la educación diferenciada constitucional, analizando el fallo y los votos particulares. Después de analizar críticamente las supuestas ventajas de la educación diferenciada, concluyen que este modelo educativo carece de la posibilidad que sí tiene la educación mixta: la oportunidad de que los estudiantes aprendan en contextos reales la convivencia y la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres, desarrollando así el soft law en materia de igualdad en el ámbito educativo.

  The authors, education inspectors, analyze, from the technical and legal point of view, single-sex schools in the Spanish legal framework. They address the relationship between the right to education and freedom of school choice, as well as the relationship between individual freedom and the social dimension of the right to education. They put the ruling of the Constitutional Court 31/2018, which declares single-sex education constitutional, at the center of the debate, by analyzing the ruling and the particular votes.

  After having critically analyzed the supposed advantages of single-sex education, they conclude that this model lacks the possibility that mixed education does have: the opportunity for students to learn about coexistence and equality between women and men in real contexts, thus developing soft law regarding equality in the educational field.
