Resumen de Trastorno de identidad disociativo:: a propósito de un caso

  Los trastornos disociativos son un problema de salud mental frecuentemente oculto e ignorado. Entre todos ellos, el trastorno de identidad disociativo (TID) constituye la patología más grave y compleja. Su curso habitualmente es crónico, y se caracteriza principalmente por una alteración en la memoria autobiográfica y del sentido de identidad única. El TID suele originarse en el contexto de una experiencia traumática grave durante la infancia. Presentamos el caso de un adolescente de 16 años ingresado en una unidad de hospitalización psiquiátrica. A través de este caso, señalamos los síntomas propios de este trastorno, los factores de riesgo que pueden favorecer el desarrollo del trastorno y describimos, de forma resumida, el abordaje psicoterapéutico indicado para esta patología. Asimismo, mostramos los resultados obtenidos en diferentes valoraciones neuropsicológicas (Escala de Inteligencia Wechsler para Niños, Test de Aprendizaje Verbal España Complutense Infantil, Inventario Clínico para adolescentes de Millon e Inventario Multidimensional de Disociación).

  Dissociative disorders constitute a frequently hidden and neglected mental health problem. Among all of them, the dissociative identity disorder (DID) is the most seri-ous and complex pathology. DID is a chronic condition, characterized by disruption in autobiographical memory and the sense of having a unified identity. DID usually originates in the context of severe trauma during the patient ́s childhood. We report the case of a 16 year old boy referred to our Psychiatric inpatient unit. Across this report, we highlight the main symptoms of this disorder, the risk factors for the development of the disorder and a summarized form of the psychotherapeutic approach. Likewise, we also show the results obtained in different neuropsychological assessments (The Wechsler Intelli-gence Scale for Children, The Spanish-Complutensian Verbal Learning test for children, the Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory and the Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation).
