    La representación cinematográfica del escritor aún es mayoritariamente androcéntrica. Ello repercute en la configuración de los personajes femeninos, frecuentemente subordinados al protagonista masculino. La vida interior de Martin Frost (2006), Ruby Sparks (2012) y ¡madre! (2017) dan voz a las inspiradoras de la creación literaria: las musas. Nuestro objetivo será analizar la representación que de ellas propone cada cinta, donde subvierten los roles de género tradicionales al luchar por un espacio propio (reflejo de los cambios sociológicos que han favorecido la pérdida de derechos patriarcales). Para ello expondremos tanto las similitudes entre las tres musas como las diferencias en su relación con sus escritores correspondientes.

    The writer’s cinematic representation is still mainly androcentric. That aspect affects the female characters’ configuration, frequently subordinated to the male protagonist. The Inner Life of Martin Frost (2006), Ruby Sparks (2012) and mother! (2017) give voice to the source of literary creation: the muses. Our purpose is to analyse the representation of these women in each film, where they subvert traditional gender roles by fighting for a room of one’s own (a reflection of the sociological changes that have favoured the loss of patriarchal rights). To this effect, we will expose both the similarities between the three muses and the differences of their relationships with their corresponding authors.
