Este artículo refleja los resultados obtenidos en una investigación realizada con una muestra de 273 docentes de Educación Infantil en relación a su percepción sobre la Educación en Valores en España en base a la normativa educativa y a las directrices de sus centros educativos. A su vez, se propone la utilidad de la Literatura Infantil para la transmisión de valores, ofreciendo una modesta propuesta para la selección y creación de cuentos infantiles que sirvan para trabajar la Educación en Valores, en consonancia con la normativa educativa española y con la utilización de la ética discursiva y el método mayéutico en el aula de Educación Infantil.
This article shows the results obtained in a study carried out with a sample of 273 Pre-Primary Education teachers regarding their perception of Values Education in Spain, taking into account the educational regulations and the guidelines of their educational centres. Also, the usefulness of Children’s Literature for the transmission of values is defended, offering a modest proposal for the selection and creation of stories for children to work Values Education, according to the Spanish educational regulations, and using discursive ethics and the maieutic method in the Pre-primary classroom.
