Resumen de Ejercicio físico y células Natural Killer en mujeres sanas y con cáncer de mama: Revisión Sistemática

El objetivo de esta revisión fue analizar el efecto de diferentes intervenciones con ejercicio físico sobre la respuesta de las células Natural Killer enmujeres sanas y con cáncer de mama. Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en las bases de datos Web of Science, Scopus, Ebsco y PubMed de las cualesveintiséis citas cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión: catorce estudios con intervenciones de ejercicio en mujeres sanas y doce en mujeres con cáncerde mama. El resultado de la revisión mostró que las células Natural Killer se incrementan inmediatamente después del esfuerzo físico en ambaspoblaciones, sin embargo, aún no es clara la respuesta ante el efecto crónico del ejercicio. Por otra parte, se observó que el ejercicio de tipo aerobiopudiera ser el que más favorece este aumento.

The goal of this review was to analyze the effect of different physical exercise interventions on the Natural Killer cell response in healthy women andwomen diagnosed with breast cancer. A systematic search was conducted on Web of Science, Scopus, Ebsco, and PubMed databases of which 26 citationsmet the inclusion criteria: 14 studies including physical exercise interventions in healthy women, and 12 in women diagnosed with breast cancer. Theresult of the review showed that Natural Killer cells are found to increase immediately after physical effort in both populations, however, their responseto chronic exercise is not yet clear. On the other hand, it was observed that aerobic exercise seems to be the one that most favors this increase.
