Odalisca sobre orla decorativa de cerámica: estudio histórico y técnico.

    En la presente investigación se ha realizado el estudio histórico-artístico, estilístico y técnico de una pintura al óleo realizada sobre una orla decorativa de cerámica, con la finalidad de conocer la historia de la pieza y los materiales constituyentes de la misma, para así poder abordar una atribución justificada de su posible autoría. El estudio histórico-artístico se ha llevado a cabo en base a un cartel subyacente en la pintura al óleo existente, lo cual ha permitido acotar la pieza en un periodo concreto, la pintura valenciana de finales de siglo XIX. Por lo que respecta al estudio de los diferentes materiales que constituyen la pieza, se han extraído diferentes muestras de la orla decorativa y de los estratos pertenecientes a la pintura al óleo para caracterizar compositivamente los materiales, estudiar el aglutinante empleado y conocer si la pieza fue sometida a algún proceso de cocción.

    In this research, the historical-artistic, stylistic and technical study of an oil painting was carried out on a decorative ceramic edge, with the aim of knowing the history of the piece and the materials that constitute it, in order to address a justified attribution of its possible authorship. The historical-artistic study was carried out on the basis of a poster underlying the existing oil painting, which allowed the piece to be delimited in a specific period by studying the Valencian painting of the late nineteenth century. With regard to the study of the different materials that make up the piece, different samples of the decorative border and the layers belonging to the oil painting were extracted to characterize compositively the materials, different samples of the decorative border and the strata belonging to the oil painting were extracted to characterize compositively the materials, to study the binder used and to know if the piece was subjected to some cooking process.
