    Se trata de un librillo impreso en Vic en 1862 en lengua catalana. El presbítero que lo escribe tiene como propósito dar instrucciones a los seglares sobre la atención a los enfermos en sus casas, cuando por "tristes circunstancias", el clero o los institutos religiosos no la puedan desempeñar. Aunque la mayor parte del contenido va destinada a la asistencia religiosa, hay muchas instrucciones sobre el cuidado que pretendo presentarles; la primera es que, el asistente debe "ser consciente de la importancia de la obra que va a emprender" lo cual confiere a sus intervenciones, intencionalidad, voluntad, relación y acción. Seguidamente se dan una serie de indicaciones para actuar en el domicilio y ganarse la confianza, primero de la familia y luego del enfermo. En el capítulo nueve se define el estado de agonía y se dan instrucciones detalladas para que el asistente ayude al enfermo a "bien morir", indicando las señales de proximidad de la muerte y las actuaciones posteriores; siempre teniendo en cuenta la familia y el entorno. De los apéndices que siguen a los capítulos, se destaca solamente las "Reglas prácticas que la Junta Directiva de la Caridad Cristiana de Vich da a los socios enfermeros", que vienen descritas secuencialmente, desde la noticia del requerimiento del servicio domiciliario hasta la evaluación del mismo

    This booklet was printed in Catalan in Vic in 1862. It was written by a priest whose intention was to instruct laypersons in the care of the ill in their homes, when for "sad circumstances", the clergy or religious institutes are unable to do so. Although its contents mainly concern religious assistance, there are many instructions on patient care, which are presented here. The first of these is that the carer "should be aware of the importance of the task they are about to perform", as this confers purpose, intention, connection and action to their interventions. On continuation there is a series of guidelines on how to act in the home and how to win the confidence first of the family and then of the patient. In chapter 9 the writer describes the state of dying and gives detailed instructions for the carer to help the patient "die well", indicating the signs of proximity to death and posterior actions; showing considering for the family and environment at all times. Concerning the appendixes after the book chapters, this review only discusses the "Practical rules that the Junta Directiva de la Caridad Cristiana de Vic (The Management Board of Christian Charity in Vic) gives to its nursing members".
