    a presencia activa de Miguel Artigas, Inspector General de Bibliotecas, en la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Zaragoza supuso para la institución un nuevo escenario, marcado por el único objetivo de colaborar en el triunfo militar del bando sublevado. Con este trabajo pretendemos ofrecer una visión no tanto del desarrollo de una política bibliotecaria concreta, como de la implicación política y la transformación ideológica del bibliotecario turolense, desde cierta tibieza inicial hasta su apuesta clara y firme por los postulados nacional-católicos.Sin abandonar la influencia de Menéndez Pelayo, cuya presencia es absolutamente imprescindible y necesaria para Artigas en el Nuevo Estado, la propia evolución del conflicto, la imprescindible adaptación y acomodo a una nueva situación política, y la muerte de su primogénito en el frente de Teruel condicionan la aparición de un verbo más encendido y violento, más cercano al ideal falangista que al catolicismo monárquico de que procedía

    The active presence of Miguel Artigas, General Inspector of Libraries, in the Library of the University of Zaragoza was a new scenario for the institution, marked by the sole objective of collaborating in the military triumph of the rebellious side. With this work we intend to offer a vision not so much of the development of a specific library policy, but of the political implication and the ideological transformation of the Teruel librarian, from a certain initial warmth to his clear and firm commitment to the national-Catholic postulates.Without abandoning the influence of Menéndez Pelayo, whose presence is absolutely essential and necessary for Artigas in the «Nuevo Estado», the very evolution of the conflict, the essential adaptation and accommodation to a new political situation, and the death of his firstborn on the Teruel front condition a more lit and violent verb, closer to the ideal Falangist that to the monarchical catholicism that it came from.
