Los cambios en el poder en la España medieval van a influir considerablemente en la organización del Estado. En este trabajo realizamos un recorrido por las instituciones de al-Andalus en época emiral y califal destacando los cambios que sufrieron las mismas al proclamarse califa `Abd al-Rabmán III convirtiendo a Córdoba en un califato independiente de tentes en la Península con anterioridad a la invasión.

Changes suffered on the Goberment in Medieval Spain has had a really influence in the organization of the State. In this chapter, we drew the institutions in al-Andalus on Emirate and Caliphal period highlighting the changes suffered by them when Abd al-Ralimán III become Caliph being Cordova in a Caliphate independent of Damascus. Furthermore, we describe the relevance of the institutions which exist on the Península after its invasion.
