Resumen de Restricciones en el financiamiento de los procesos en la educación superior cubana

  La Educación Superior en Cuba está llamada a elevar su gestión y perfeccionar sus procesos como principal vía para lograrlo. Este desafío se plantea ante la imperiosa necesidad de elevar la calidad y pertinencia de su proceso de enseñanza y en consecuencia de sus egresados. Si bien es conocida esta realidad, de igual forma es conocido que existen restricciones de diversas naturalezas para lograr este fin. En este sentido, se realizó la presente investigación, con el objetivo de identificar las restricciones en el proceso de financiamiento de la Educación Superior en Cuba. La investigación se orienta en el paradigma interpretativo, bajo un enfoque cualitativo y se adoptó como principal técnica la forma de pensamiento de la Teoría de las Restricciones y se confeccionó el Árbol de la Realidad Actual, a partir de la identificación de las restricciones del proceso en la Universidad de Holguín. Se identificó que las causas raíces se encuentran asociadas a restricciones de políticas. Se pudo concluir que la educación superior cubana necesita buscar fuentes de financiamiento para el perfeccionamiento de sus procesos

  Higher Education in Cuba is called to elevate its management and perfect its processes as the main way to achieve it. This challenge arises in the face of the urgent need to raise the quality and relevance of their teaching process and consequently of their graduates. Although this reality is known, it is also known that there are restrictions of various natures to achieve this end. In this sense, the present investigation was carried out with the objective of identifying the restrictions in the process of financing Higher Education in Cuba. The research is oriented in the interpretive paradigm, under a qualitative approach, and the main technique of the Theory of Constraints was adopted as the main technique and the Tree of Current Reality was prepared, from the identification of the process constraints in the University of Holguín. Root causes were found to be associated with policy restrictions. It was concluded that the Cuban Higher Education needs to look for financing sources for the improvement of its processes
