    Partiendo del concepto clásico de A.P.S. definido en Alma-Ata se realiza una revisión de la situación conceptual hacia una perspectiva actual. La odontoestomatología en A.P.S debe estar imbricada con la administración sanitaria, la universidad y la profesión organizada. El Real Decreto de 1984, la Constitución y la ley General de Sanidad constituyen el trípode donde se asienta la A.P. en el actual Sistema Nacional de Salud. Dentro el marco conceptual de la APS la Odontoestomatología se define con unas características que le son propias. Definimos el perfil del odontoestomatólogo de A.P. y las coordenadas de su trabajo.

    Departing from the classical concept of A.P.S. defined in Alma-Ata, the authors develop a revision of the conceptual situation towards an actual perspective. Odontoestomatology in A.P.S. must be overlapped with the Health Administation, the University and the Professional Colleges. The Royal Order from 1984. The Constitution and the General Law of Health set up the tripod where the A.P. in the actual Health System lays down. Inside the conceptual framework of A.P.S., Odontoestomatology has its own characteristics. In this work, authors define the profile of the dentist of A.P. and the coordinates of his work.

    Osasunaren lehen arretari buruzko kontzeptu klasiko abia- puntutzat harturik, Alma-Atan definitu zena, kontzeptu horren egoera gaur eguneko ikuspegia orabiliz berrikusi da. Osasunaren lehen arretako odontoestomatologiak Osasun Administrazioarekin, unibertsitateekin eta elkargockin elkar- lanean aritu behar du, 1984, eko Erret Dekretuak, Konstitu- zioak eta Osasunari buruzko Lege Orokorra dira lehen arre- tararen hiru eustuneak oraingo Osasunaren Nazio Siste- man. Oj Aren marko kontzeptualaren barruan, odontoesto- matologia beraren berezko ezaugarriek definitzen dute. Lehen arretako odontoestomatologoaren eredua definitu dugu, baita haren lanaren koordenadak zein diren adieraziere.
