This unique through-trip, which runs through a small section of the Gandara system, has been retrofitted for the double-rope technique during the months of October and November of 2016 within the magnificent plan of conservation of classic cavities promoted by the Caving Cantabrian Federation. In this retrofit have been used stainless steel anchorages and 150m of fixed ropes. The materials used are all stainless, and like the resins, the best quality offered by the market, always seeking the highest standards of safety and durability.
This issue, which due to the unevenness of the verticals has not been simple, has been carried out by Viana Club of Guadalajara with the inestimable help of Cota Mínima Cantabria Group and Abismo Club of Guadalajara. Everything leaded and executed by Fernando Vallecillos Sánchez-Céspedes (Viana Club).
This trough-trip is in no case conceived for people who are in their first steps of speleological life, but rather for experienced cavers; not due to the duration of the journey, which will not exceed six or seven hours, but to the technique and care that will be necessary to undertake this activity.
