Se presenta un estudio del género Iberotelus Lyneborg de los terévidos. Se describen una especie nueva, Iberotelus cinectatus sp. n., y la hembra de I. inexpectatus Lyneborg. Se da una clave de las especies, se comenta la ecología de este género, y se da la distribución actual de sus tres especies.

A study of the therevid genus Iberotelus Lyneborg is presented. A new species, Iberotelus cinectatus sp. n., and the female of I. inexpectatus are described and figured. A key to species is given, along with comments on the ecology of this genus and the current distribution of its three species.
