    La filosofía de Ortega y Gasset hunde sus raíces en la vida humana, que es una realidad radical que el individuo tiene que vivir junto a su cuerpo que se configura como "carne" que es "jeroglífico, expresión de un fenómeno cósmico", es decir, un conjunto de experiencias y de sentidos que el individuo crea a partir de sus circunstancia. Desde este punto de vista, el cuerpo es al mismo tiempo "biología y biografía", se abre a nosotros en dos perspectivas contrapuestas y entrecruzadas: cada cual ve su cuerpo desde fuera y lo percibe desde dentro, un "dentro" que encierra una intimidad que fluye y se desvela al otro, convirtiéndose en un instrumento hermenéutico de conocimiento auténtico de lo propiamente humano.

    Philosophical perspective on body in Ortega Gasset’philosophy has its roots in human life, a radical reality that the individual must live with his body which is flesh as "meat" which is "hieroglyphic, expression of a cosmic phenomenon", that is, a set of experiences and meaning created by individuals following its “circumstance”. In this regard, the body is “biology” and “biography” at the same time, opening to us in two perspectives opposed and entwined: anyone sees his own body from the outside and sense it from within, a “within” which contains an intimacy, flowing and revealing to the Other. It turns into an hermeneutic instrument of authentic knowledge of what is authentically human.
