    Remotely piloted aircraft are part of our aviation landscape. From being initially conceived far specialized aerial tasks, dull, darty and dangerous, they have become widely operated, as if they were a toy. In these pages we intend to critically analyse the legal regime applicable to these aircrafts, delimiting the operations that can be carried out with them and the requirements imposed by the European legislator. We aim to emphasise the responsibilities that may arise from their use, either because the conditions of airworthiness are infringed, due to damages caused in accidents or incidents, or because of the infringement of the protective regime of privacy and personal data.

    Las aeronaves pilotadas por control remoto forman parte de nuestro paisaje aeronáutico. De concebirse inicialmente para labores aéreas especializadas, dull, darty y dangerous, han pasado a operarse de forma generalizada, como si de un juguete se tratara. Pretendemos en estas páginas analizar de forma crítica el régimen jurídico aplicable a estas aeronaves, delimitando las operaciones que pueden realizarse con ellas y las exigencias impuestas por el legislador europeo.

    Pretendemos incidir en las responsabilidades que pueden derivarse de su uso, sea porque se infringen las condiciones de aeronavegabilidad, porque se provocan daños en accidentes o incidentes, o se conculca el régimen tuitivo de la intimidad y de los datos de carácter personal.
